New methodology of adaptive monitoring and evaluation of complicated dynamic data is introduced. The major objectives are monitoring and evaluation of both instantaneous and long-term attributes of complex dynamic behavior, such as of chaotic systems and real-world dynamical systems. In the sense of monitoring, the methodology introduces a novel approach to quantification and visualization of cognitively observed system behavior in a real time without further processing of these observations.

In this work, it is shown that these challenges (issues) are potentially very likely to be answered successfully with nonconventional neural units for their high capability in approximation, low number of neural parameters and thus for their relatively comprehensible mathematical structure. As the most current results of our research, we introduce a methodology based on deterministic chaos approach to monitoring and evaluation of important attributes of both theoretical as well as real complex dynamical systems.

The founding idea of the adaptive valuation methodology is to detect and visualize the unusually large neural parameter increments during the adaptation of an appropriate adaptive model, such as the HRV HONNU introduced in previous section. The plot visualizing the unusual increments of neural parameters is called the Adaptation Plot (formerly also called Monitor Plot when its first version was designed by Bukovsky in [14]). The principle of the Adaptation Plot and some of its most important capabilities are sketched and explained in Fig.
